Contacts not searchable in New Message

Issue: The user has an address book in the Contacts section of their Outlook but they cannot send emails to those contacts when they compose a new message.

Cause: This usually happens when Contacts are imported from another computer. They get imported properly as Contacts but they are not searchable by Outlook.

Resolution: Find the Address Book in the Contacts menu, Right-Click > Properties > Outlook Address Book put a check in the box that says Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book. This will allow Outlook to find those Contacts when the user searches for them in the Compose Message screen.
